TELCO is India's largest manufacturer of Heavy & Light Commercial Vehicles, having around 100 sales offices countrywide. All the vehicles sold to the dealers or directly to Government Transport Corporation are dealt by these offices. The software is targeted to be used at all the sales offices in the country for the enquiry / order management & post order payment follow-up, the data to be up-loaded at the head office and region wise MIS reporting to be done.
As soon as an enquiry is received the follow-up activity starts. An offer letter for the enquiry is generated. When order is received against the offer it is fed in the system. A performa invoice is generated and sent to the customer specifying the delivery time & the total amount to be realised. The collection of payment starts and system generates the pending payment reminder against the invoices. If there is any change in payment before delivery of the vehicle, it can be adjusted by debit/credit note provision. System also takes care of the sales tax related reports. Data entered at various sales offices can be centralised at their HO by a data downloading utility and consolidated reports can be generated.
